FAQs

Given that this is a legal document, you must file a report to your nearest police station and explain what happened. Once filed, present the report to our office and pay the administrative fee of €20 so that a replacement card and booklet can be issued. WBRU officers will subsequently guide you on the collection date of the items.

Refer to the guidance notes under ‘Resources’ > ‘Licences’ of this website. These explain the procedure for every category of licence that can be obtained.

You may contact us by phone or visit the office and request a change of address or change of mobile so that our records and your licences are updated.

Firstly, check that the mobile number listed on your General Licence card is correct. If you use a mobile phone with dual sim cards, check the inbox of the one registered with the WBRU. In most cases, WBRU messages are filtered by some phones and are placed in the “screened messages” rather than the normal inbox. Ask your service provider to assist you in unblocking our number.

In most cases, you can visit our offices to fill in an application form and pay a €150 late payment fee for each application, in accordance with Schedule X of S.L.549.42.
